The Mercedes-AMG branch has started tests of its first ever hypercar, Which was named Project One According to Tobias Moers, the head of the department, currently, prototypes are tested on several race tracks, as well as on the own testing ground of Daimler AG concern.

The Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 will receive the same powerplant as the Formula 1 cars of the Mercedes AMG Petronas factory team, which is based on a 1.6-liter turbo engine, but there will be four engines at once – one for each of the wheels. The MGU-K and MGU-H systems will be assisted.The first transforms into electricity the mechanical and thermal energy, the second – the energy of the exhaust gasses. According to unofficial data, the total power of the Project One power plant will exceed 1000 hp

It is curious that the resource of the engine is only 50 thousand kilometers, after which it is subject to replacement or a complete bulkhead. For both operations, the future owner will have to pay. The cost of each Project One will be 2.275 million euros, it will be released in 275 copies. According to unconfirmed information, the entire circulation of the hypercar is already sold out.
